F1: Rosberg maintains pressure

By signing the pole position in Brazil, Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) sent a signal to his teammate Lewis Hamilton, the head of the championship before the final race in Abu Dhabi. This Sunday (17h), the German attempt to outperform the Columbia, under the eyes of French, too far to play the arbitrators.

Rosberg starts the sprint

When he was impressed by dominating the three free practice sessions, Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) had the nerve to get pole position. Again, the German had to fight hard against his teammate Lewis Hamilton duel. Before in Q1 and Q2, there was again the race in Q3. But on his last attempt, Lewis Hamilton took the lead, thinking an unexpected sign pole. He had not reckoned on the last lap of the German who has taken his place for 33 thousandths. Epic! With his tenth pole position of the season, 14th of his career, Nico Rosberg, which points to 24 points in the drivers' Hamilton can still dream of the title of world champion. Especially the points will be doubled during the final Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.

The debacle of the French

While teammate Pastor Maldonado ended up eighteenth and last place, Romain Grosjean (Lotus) could not get out of Q1 either, failing to tenth of Q2. The French, who has never scored points at Interlagos, should not do so again this time. Lotus driver has especially because the Pirelli tires that wear out too vites he said.

Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso), who had already shown worrying signs during practice, is also released from the Q1, finishing 16th, just behind Romain Grosjean. He was never able to adjust his car at the Interlagos circuit. Missed the first practice session, probably weighed.

Massa blazes before his public

If Mercedes seem untouchable, Felipe Massa (Williams) has not lowered the foot either. The Brazilian, at home on the Interlagos track, has not ceased to be offensive during qualifying. It might even get better than third place better if he had negotiated his last lap, when he led after the first two sectors. Third in Q1, Q2 in the second, third in Q3, the Brazilian did not give up and will do anything to put pressure on the two favorites tomorrow (17h).
